Ireland Welcomes IAYMH 2017

Welcome Message: Youth Co- Convenors 2017

Céad míle fáilte go IAYMH 2017- Welcome to IAYMH 2017! We are so thrilled to be Youth Co- Convenors for the 2017 IAYMH International Conference where we will be working with you, the youth delegates, to make this year’s conference the best yet.

The Conference brings together leaders from around the world who are dedicated to creating positive change in youth mental health. At the core of that change is young people. Through youth engagement at every possible level, IAYMH is working towards making sure that the Conference empowers young people to make a difference.

This will be the 4th IAYMH Conference to take place and we are seeing more and more young people who are eager to share their learning, enrich their understanding and contribute to the positive moves being made in youth mental health.

During the Conference, you will be able to meet with your like-minded peers from all corners of the world, create networks to share your knowledge, collaborate on projects and hopefully help you to drive forward positive change. IAYMH places a great value on the contribution that young people can make to the Conference and want to make sure that you get the best experience possible.

Keep an eye out on the IAYMH social media pages @IAYMH for information on Bursary Applications, Submitting an Abstract and the agenda for the conference. As Youth Co- Convenors, we will be working to make sure that young people are at the focus of the conference and try to create the best experience possible. Over the coming months, we will be working on guides to submitting abstracts for the Conference, information on the Conference’s bursaries, engaging with you to shape the Conference, and information about the Conference host city- Dublin.

We are so excited to work with you in the lead up to the Conference and to welcoming you, in person, at the IAYMH 2017.
